Woman charged over shocking Central Coast road rage attack

A woman has been charged over a violent road rage attack which occurred on the Central Coast earlier this week.

The incident, which was caught on camera and posted online, happened just after midday at Lake Munmorah on the Central Coast.

“When the two vehicles stopped at the intersection of Pacific Highway and Elizabeth Bay Drive, a 41-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were involved in an argument,” police said in a statement.


Following investigations, the 21-year-old woman attended Wyong Police Station yesterday, where she was charged with malicious damage, being armed with intent to commit indictable offence, intentionally throw object at vehicle risk safety, part of body outside window – passenger and passenger seatbelt not fastened.

The woman was granted conditional bail to appear at Wyong Local Court on Wednesday 6 September.

The 41-year-old man was also charged over the attack after he allegedly punched the woman in the face.
