Woman charged with stabbing man during alleged domestic argument

A woman has been charged after a man was stabbed on the north coast of NSW yesterday.

Police say that about 6.00pm, a 53-year-old man was stabbed in the thigh during an alleged domestic violence incident on Rolland’s Plains Road, Telegraph Point.

The man was treated at the scene before being transported to Port Macquarie Hospital for treatment.

A 44-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Port Macquarie Police Station where she was charged with reckless wounding.

She was released on conditional bail and is due to appear in Port Macquarie Local Court on Wednesday 3 August.
