A Sydney mother has been charged with murder following the death of a baby boy earlier this year.
Emergency services were called to a home at Oran Park in Sydney’s south-west on Thursday, May 20 after concerns were raised for the welfare of residents.
Upon arrival, officers found a four-month-old boy “unconscious and unresponsive”.

Paramedics immediately began CPR at the scene before the infant was rushed to Campbelltown Hospital.
Sadly, the baby boy could not be revived.
A 32-year-old woman was arrested at the home and taken to Narellan Police Station before being taken to Liverpool Hospital for an assessment.
The home was examined by specialist forensic officers and Detectives launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
Following inquiries, the woman was arrested in Malabar yesterday and charged with murder (DV).
She was formally refused bail and is due to appear in Campbelltown Local Court on Wednesday 24 November.
