Woman charged with stealing $148,000 from company trust account

The Queensland Police Service’s Fraud and Cyber Crime Group have charged a 48-year-old woman for stealing $148,000 from a company trust account.

Fraud Squad detectives say the Ferny Grove woman, an employee of a real estate agency withdrew funds from the company trust account for her own personal use.

The woman is the second employee of the real estate agency to be charged after Fraud Squad detectives charged a 44-year-old Ferny Grove man for also withdrawing funds from the company trust account for his own personal use.

The 44-year-old Ferny Grove man is to reappear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on September 18, 2015.

The 48-year-old Ferny Grove woman is to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court at on October 8, 2015.
