A WOMAN has been charged after she allegedly threw corrosive fluid (acid) into the face of her ex-husband.
The horrific attack happened about 1.30pm on Monday, when the 55-year-old woman turned up to the workplace of her former partner at Silverwater.
Police said the pair became involved in a verbal confrontation before the woman walked into the office kitchen.

“It’s alleged the woman returned to the room with a mug of corrosive fluid that was thrown in the face of the man,” police said in a statement.
The man was rushed to Concord Emergency Burns Unit where he remains in a stable condition with burn injuries to his eye.
The 55-year-old woman was arrested a short time later at a home in Belfield.
She was taken to Auburn Police Station where she was served an Appended Domestic Violence Order, and charged with throw fluid with intent to burn/maim cause grievous bodily harm (DV), and larceny.
She was refused bail and will appear in Burwood Local Court today.
