A WOMAN has been stabbed multiple times in a frenzied attack at a house in Melbourne’s inner-west.
The 57-year-old was attacked inside her home on Victoria Street in Seddon on Saturday night.
Police said a 30-year-old man who was visiting the woman became “erratic” and lashed out just before midnight.

It’s alleged he lunged at the woman with a knife and used it to repeatedly stab her in the upper body.
The man then allegedly chased the woman and two of her friends out of the house and onto the street.
The victim collapsed on Victoria Street, while the armed man continued to chase her friends along Pilgrim Street.
Passers-by went raced the aid of the victim, who was rushed to hospital with serious knife wounds.
Transit police managed to arrest the 30-year-old man at the scene.
In a statement on Sunday morning, police said the man was being assessed by a Forensic Medical Officer.
The man’s relationship to the woman was not known at the time of writing.
No charges have yet been laid.
