Woman and children injured after car slams into shopping centre

A WOMAN and three children have been injured after an out-of-control car crashed into a shopping centre north of the Gold Coast.

The incident happened at the Logan City Centre shopping plaza on Wembley Road just before 9.30am.

It’s understood a vehicle struck a family of four after mounting a footpath and slamming into a wall.

A woman aged in her 30s and three female children were injured and had to be taken to hospital.

Two of the children were taken to the Logan Hospital, while the third was transported to the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.

The woman was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, also in Brisbane.

Queensland Ambulance said all four patients sustained only minor injuries and were transported in a stable condition.
