Woman, children unhurt in home invasion

A MOTHER and her three young children have been left shaking in shock following a terrifying home invasion at Logan.

Police say two men burst into the family’s Camp Cable Road home about 3am on Sunday and threatened a 25-year-old woman before demanding money.

It’s alleged the men spent two hours ransacking the property, searching for valuable items, before finding a large stash of cash.

Police said the intruders then stole the woman’s car – a blue 2004 Toyota Avalon – and drove away with the money about 5.15am.

The pair allegedly parked the vehicle on nearby Virginia Way before being picked up by a white car.

Thankfully, the 25-year-old woman and her three children, all aged under 10, were not physically harmed during the incident.

Detectives are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone who saw either vehicle or has dashcam or CCTV vision to contact police.
