Woman dead, man and toddler airlifted to hospital after horror car rollover

A woman has died and a man and toddler have been airlifted to hospital following a horror car rollover at Gilgandra in NSW.

Police said that around 2.50pm yesterday, a Toyota Hilux was driving along East Coonamble Road when it left the road and rolled.

The driver, a 26-year-old man, and his two passengers, a 24-year-old woman and three-year-old girl were all ejected from the vehicle.


The woman was rushed to Gilgandra Hospital where she died shortly after arrival.

The three-year-old girl was also taken to Gilgandra Hospital before being airlifted to Westmead Children’s Hospital where she remains in an induced coma in a serious but stable condition.

The man was airlifted to Westmead Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not considered life threatening.

An investigation into how the crash occurred is ongoing.
