A woman has tragically died after plunging 50 metres from a waterfall in Far North Queensland.
Emergency services were called in for a search and rescue operation at Windin Falls near Cairns yesterday afternoon.
It’s understood the 58-year-old fell from the top of the waterfall around lunchtime, after getting too close to the edge.
