A woman who suffered critical injuries in a two car crash at Underwood, north of the Gold Coast, on Monday – has lost her fight for life in hospital.
The 22-year-old was involved in the serious accident on August 22, and passed away on Friday.
Preliminary investigations suggest at around 11.15pm a car was driving south on Kingston Road when it collided with another car travelling west on Compton Road.

Emergency services attended the scene and three people were subsequently transported to hospital.
A 22-year-old woman from Wurtulla was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.
A 26-year-old Raceview man was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with leg and ankle injuries.
A 53-year-old man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
