Woman dies after being hit by car on Sydney street
A woman has died in hospital after being hit by a car in Sydney’s west last Friday.
About 8.15pm, a 63-year-old woman was crossing a street in Pendle Hill, when she was struck by a silver Toyota Camry.
The driver of the Toyota, a 39-year-old woman, stopped and rendered assistance to the pedestrian, before Paramedics arrived.
She was taken to Westmead Hospital with life-threatening injuries; however, died on Sunday 12 June.
The driver was also taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
