Woman douses herself in petrol outside Parliament House
EMERGENCY crews are treating a woman who has doused herself in petrol outside Parliament House in Canberra.
The woman is believed to have been protesting on the lawn when she poured the flammable liquid over her body and threatened to set herself alight.
Luckily, AFP officers were quick to rush to the woman’s aid.
She is currently being attended to by paramedics at the scene, however is believed to be in a stable condition.
The emergency comes a day after the budget was released.
