Woman dragged from her car, punched repeatedly in terrifying carjacking

A WOMAN has been dragged from her car and repeatedly punched in the face by another two women who then drove off in her vehicle early this morning.

The violent incident unfolded just after 2.10am, when the 33-year-old woman parked her car in the carpark at her workplace on College Avenue, Forest Lake.

“Two females have approached her car and opened the door before assaulting her and dragging her from the car,” Qld police said in a statement.


“She was punched in the face a number of times before the females then drove off in her car.”

Officers are now looking for a female aged between 17-19yrs, Caucasian, slight build, about 168cm tall with short curly hair.

The second female is described as early twenties, Caucasian, slight build and about 168cm tall.

The victim has been transported to QEII Hospital with cuts and abrasion to her face.

Police are appealing for anyone with further information or dashcam vision of the area at the time to contact police.

The stolen vehicle is a 2011 silver hybrid Toyota Camry Queensland registration 649SCQ.
