Woman dragged by taxi in Sydney hit-and-run

Police are hunting for a taxi driver involved in a shocking hit-and-run in Sydney.

A woman, aged in her 30s, was injured when she was dragged along the road by the vehicle.

She had tried to get into the cab on William Street in Woolloomooloo, about 1am on Saturday, when the vehicle took off, dragging her a short distance.

The taxi driver didn’t stop.

The woman was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition.
