Woman fights for life after being stabbed in the neck
A WOMAN is fighting for her life in hospital tonight after being stabbed in the neck during a suspected domestic violence incident at a house in Adelaide’s north.
Emergency services were called to the Para Vista home just before 4.15pm local time on Thursday.
They arrived to find a woman who had been stabbed in the neck. She was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with what police say is a “life-threatening” stab wound.
A second woman, believed to be related to the victim, was taken into police custody at the scene.
She remains in custody tonight, assisting detectives with their inquiries.
