Woman fined for urinating outside town’s Information Centre

A WOMAN has been slapped with several fines after she was allegedly caught urinating in front horrified tourists outside a Visitor’s Information Centre in northern NSW.

According to the Northern Star, the obscene scenes unfolded in the seaside town of Byron Bay on Thursday.

The woman, who is believed to be aged in her 30s, was reportedly caught red-handed relieving herself outside the town’s Information Centre on Jonson Street around 4pm.

After greeting visitors to the town with her pants down, the woman then allegedly nicked an advertising sign from the centre and fled the scene.

Police were called and eventually caught up with the woman, who was later fined for offensive behaviour and larceny.
