A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after being cut from the wreck of her upturned car on the Gold Coast.
The accident happened along Gooding Drive at Merrimac around 9.45am on Wednesday.
It’s understood the woman was travelling west along the road when she clipped a parked car.

The collision caused the woman’s small silver Hyundai to flip onto its roof.
The woman, believed to be aged in her 60s, was trapped in the wreck for some time before being released.
She was eventually cut out of the vehicle and assessed by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.
The woman was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with abdominal and chest pain.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman told myGC the woman was transported in a stable condition.
Traffic on Gooding Drive was reduced to a crawl through the area while crews worked to clear the scene.
