Woman flown to hospital after falling off cliff in South Australia

A woman has been airlifted to hospital after falling down a cliff in Adelaide’s east.

Emergency services were called to Morialta Park shortly after 3pm on Sunday after the female rock climber fell from a cliff.

In a mammoth effort, paramedics, fire fighters, police and State Emergency Service volunteers worked together to retrieve the 29-year-old woman.

Once retrieved, the woman was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.

Police said her injuries were not life threatening.
