Woman followed home, indecently assaulted by stranger
Police are appealing for public assistance after a woman was followed to her Pendle Hill home and indecently assaulted yesterday.
About 4.20pm Monday 7 December, a 22-year-old woman was walking from Pendle Hill Railway Station to her nearby home, when a man nearly bumped into her and then began following her.
Police have been told when the woman arrived home; the man forced his way into her house and indecently assaulted her, before leaving.
Officers from Parramatta Local Area Command were contacted and arrived a short time later, establishing a crime scene that was examined by forensic experts.
Detectives would like to speak with a man described as being of Indian/Sub Continental appearance, about 30-years-old, clean shaven, with a thin build and short black hair. At the time he was wearing a blue long-sleeve button-up shirt and dark pants.
