A WOMAN has been grabbed from behind and slashed with a knife by a burglar she found rummaging through her work’s kitchen in Brisbane.
Police said the 37-year-old female staffer disturbed the intruder at her place of work on Breene Place at Morningside about 5.45pm on Wednesday.
The man was allegedly taking items from a lower level meeting room at the time, police said.

As the woman walked into the kitchen, she was allegedly grabbed from behind and a struggle ensued during which police said the woman bit the man on the right hand.
That’s when it’s alleged the intruder slashed the woman’s arm with a knife before running off.
The female employee was transported to Brisbane’s Mater Hospital for treatment.
Police are still searching for the man, described as being Caucasian and approximately 188cm tall.
He was wearing a black hat, black jumper, black pants and black latex gloves at the time.
