A woman has been hospitalised after a shocking incident with a horse in the Gold Coast hinterland.
It happened at an address at Tamborine Mountain shortly after 11.00am this morning.
It’s believed the woman may have been struck down by the horse, though it is unknown whether or not she was riding the horse before the incident.

Emergency services were called to the scene, following reports the woman had suffered a head injury.
On arrival, paramedics briefly treated the woman for injuries to her face.
They then rushed her to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
The woman’s age is unknown.
