A woman is fighting for life after being pulled unconscious from waters at Surfers Paradise.
Paramedics were called to the beach near Narrowneck just after 3.10pm this afternoon.
Queensland Ambulance Senior Operations Supervisor Jayney Shearman says the woman is believed to have been under the water for up to 10 minutes.

“She was seen initially by bystanders on the beach who realised she was in trouble and pulled her up from the water,” she said.
“They commenced CPR for three or four minutes before the Surf Life Saving Club members came down to assist.”
Paramedics, including Critical Care and the High Acuity Response Unit arrived a short time later.
She was treated at the scene before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
