A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after being mauled by her pet dog.
The horrific attack happened at a home in Salisbury North, Adelaide around 8.00am on Monday.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and treated the 55-year-old woman for significant head and arm injuries.

She’s since been taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
