A woman has died when her car collided with another on Nimbin Road yesterday afternoon.
At arond 5:15pm, the 49-year-old’s Toyota Hiace van was involved in a collision with a Toyota Landcruiser driven by a 42-year-old man at the intersection with High Street.
The woman was trapped in her vehicle for two hours until she was removed and airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital, where she died of her injuries.

The man was taken to Lismore Base Hospital and treated for a head injury and laceration to his elbow.
Blood and urine testing was conducted, and officers attended the crash scene.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.
