A WOMAN has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in Far North Queensland.
It happened on Gatton Street, near Newton Street, at Manunda around 2.40pm.
Police said the 54-year-old woman lost control of her small white sedan and ploughed through a fence.

The woman sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash.
She was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Cairns Hospital.
Sadly, police confirmed the woman’s injuries were too severe and she could not be saved.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed a minor traffic crash around Gatton Street just prior to the fatal collision to come forward and contact Policelink or Crimestoppers.
