A WOMAN has been killed and a man critically injured in a horror crash near Junee, in the NSW Riverina.
Police said the crash happened on Gundagai Road at Eurongilly, 21km southeast of Junee, just before 2.30pm.
It’s understood a car left the road and smashed head-on into a tree before bursting into flames.

Sadly, there was nothing emergency services could do to save the female passenger.
Police confirmed the woman was pronounced dead at the scene before she could be taken to hospital.
The woman is believed to be in her 20s, although her age is yet to be confirmed.
The man who was driving the car at the time of the accident sustained life-threatening injuries.
He was rushed to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition. His age was not immediately known.
Police are now investigating all circumstances surrounding the crash and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
