Woman on trial over Gold Coast bikie associates murder

A WOMAN co-accused of murdering a Gold Coast bikie associate will stand trial in Brisbane Supreme Court today.

The skeletal remains of Darren John Britza, 31, who first disappeared in March 2001, were found buried in a shallow grave under the Canungra Creek Bridge in the Gold Coast hinterland in 2008.

It’s alleged Britza was bashed to death in a Southport panel-beating workshop linked to the Finks criminal motorcycle gang.


Former lovers Jade Marie Clarke, 39, and Dean Mark Wills, 39, were charged with murder.

A third man, Shane Anthony Eric Hansen, 34, was also charged with the bashing murder however the case against him was dropped in January this year due to lack of evidence.
