Police from Shoalhaven Local Area Command have charged a man following a domestic related assault in a carpark of a fast food restaurant in Bomaderry yesterday.
About 5pm (Sunday 19 July 2015) a 50-year-old woman attended a carpark on the Princes Highway.
It’s alleged the woman became involved in a verbal argument with a 57-year-old man, known to her.

The argument allegedly turned physical with the man punching the woman in face.
It’s further alleged the man than took a hammer from his vehicle and hit the woman over the head a number of times before getting back into his car and fleeing the scene.
The woman was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital where she was treated and later released.
About 6pm (Sunday 20 July 2015) the man attended Kangaroo Valley Police Station where he spoke to police. He was arrested and taken to Nowra Police Station where he was charged with reckless wounding.
He was refused bail and will appear in Nowra Local Court today (Monday 20 July 2015).
