UPDATE: A 21-YEAR-OLD man accused of raping and robbing a Thai masseuse on the Gold Coast yesterday will spend the next three months behind bars.
The unemployed man was arrested yesterday and charged with rape, threats, entering premises to commit an indictable offence, deprivation of liberty and possession of a water pipe.
The Bulletin reports he allegedly booked a private massage at a Southport apartment using his personal mobile phone but once there held the woman against her will, raped her and made off with $120 cash.

He didn’t apply for bail when appearing in the Southport Magistrates Court today, instead was remanded in custody to return to court on August 17.

EARLIER: A MAN has been charged with raping and threatening a woman in a Southport unit on Monday.
The Bulletin reports the 21-year-old man from Southport called a 39-year-old Thai masseuse to a Brighton Parade unit for an appointment around 2.30pm yesterday.
The alleged victim told officers, once inside, she was sexually assaulted, before the man stole some money and threatened her not to call Police.
The Southport man has been charged with rape, threats, entering premises to commit an indictable offense, deprivation of liberty and possession of drug utensils.
He will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court today.
