POLICE are investigating after a woman was run over and killed while crossing a road in Sydney’s south-east overnight.
The fatal accident happened on Anzac Parade at Moore Park, between Cleveland Street and Moore Park Road, at around 11.20pm.
Initial investigations suggest a woman, believed to be aged in her 30s or 40s, was crossing the road when she was struck by a Toyota utility.

The woman, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The driver of the utility has been taken to St Vincents Hospital where he will undergo mandatory blood and urine tests.
A crime scene has been established and investigations into the incident are continuing.
Anzac Parade is currently closed northbound between Cleveland Street and Moore Park Road as investigations take place.
