Woman rushed to hospital after being hit by car on Gold Coast
A woman has been seriously injured after being hit by a car on the Gold Coast overnight.
Emergency crews rushed to a location off Nerang Broadbeach Road in Carrara around 6.45pm on Friday, following reports a pedestrian had been struck.
Upon arrival, they found a woman in her 30s suffering significant lower leg injuries.
She was treated on scene by critical care paramedics before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed the woman was transported in a serious but stable condition.
