A MAN has been arrested and charged with stabbing another man in the head and slashing a woman across the face in a horror knife attack at Moorooka, in Brisbane’s south.
Police say the 44-year-old man first slashed the 52-year-old woman across the face at a house on Helles Street around 6pm on Tuesday before making his way to a house on Keats Street, more than one kilometre away.
Here, it’s alleged the man stabbed a 30-year-old man in the head and forearm, causing life-threatening injuries.

The armed man initially fled the scene on foot but was tracked down by police and arrested a short time later.
His victims were treated by paramedics at the scene before being rushed to the Princes Alexandra Hospital.
Police say the 30-year-old man is in a critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
The woman sustained less serious injuries and is in a stable condition.
The 44-year-old man from Moorooka has since been charged with two counts of acts intended to main and one count each of common assault and wilful damage.
He was due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
