Woman stabbed multiple times at Sydney home
A woman has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed by a man, believed to be known to her, at a home in Glenmore Park yesterday.
Police say that at about 5.40pm, emergency services were called to a home after reports a woman had been seriously injured.
On arrival, emergency services located a 29-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds.
She was treated at the scene before being rushed to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police commenced a search for a 42-year-old man and found him with what are believed to be self inflicted injuries.
He was transported to Westmead Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
