A young woman has died in hospital after being struck by a car in South Australia overnight.
The pedestrian, a 26-year-old Elizabeth East woman, was struck just after 10pm on Friday on Hamblynn Road, Elizabeth Downs.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and rendered first aid before she was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where she sadly died from her injuries.
Major Crash investigators attended the scene and will be investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The woman’s death takes the State’s road toll to 90, compared to 83 at the same time last year.
