Woman struck, pinned between car and wall by learner driver

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a collision in an underground car park in Ulladulla this afternoon.

About 12.30pm (Wednesday 12 August 2015), a car being driven by a 33-year-old learner driver has lunged forward into a woman, pinning her momentarily against a wall.

The 57-year-old woman was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics for injuries to her legs and pelvis.

She was airlifted by helicopter to St George Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.

The driver was taken to Milton Base Hospital for mandatory blood and alcohol testing.

Investigations into the matter are continuing and officers are urging any witnesses to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
