Woman tied up, man assaulted in violent burglary at Logan
A WOMAN has been tied up and a man assaulted in a violent burglary at a home in Tanah Merah this morning.
Around 8.15am, two men armed with a screwdriver entered a house on Cowra Street via an unlocked internal garage door.
Police said one of the men tied a female resident up while the other demanded property from a male.
“The male occupant and one of the men have then become involved in a physical altercation,” police said in a statement.
It is believed the man may have been injured as a result of the fight before the pair fled on a motorcycle.
Investigations are continuing.
