Woman treated for burns after Pimpama shed goes up in flames

A large shed full of hay and motorvehicles has gone up in flames at Pimpama overnight.

Multiple fire crews rushed to the scene on Pimpama Jacobs Well Road just after 8.00pm, following reports of a large blaze burning.

Upon arrival, they found a shed about 20m x 10m in size fully engulfed in flames.


A Queensland Fire and Rescue spokesperson told myGC that the fire was threatening nearby sheds, however fire crews managed to have the flames under control within half an hour.

One woman was treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance paramedics for minor burns.

The blaze is not being treated as suspicious.
