Man arrested – Woman, two children rushed to hospital after domestic at NSW home
A man has been charged with multiple offences after police received several triple zero calls to a home in Warilla yesterday.
Just after 6pm, police rushed to a home on Fleetwood Crescent following reports of a domestic violence incident.
Officers forced entry into the home where a physical altercation then took place between a 40-year-old man and a male police officer.
Following a search of the home police allegedly located three unregistered firearms and an amount of ammunition.
A 34-year old woman and two children were treated at the scene before being taken to Shellharbour Hospital.
The 40-year-old man was arrested and taken to Oak Flats Police Station where he was charged with possess unauthorised firearm ( x 3), not keep firearm safely ( x 3), possess unregistered firearm (x 3), possess ammunition, common assault ( x 2), resist arrest (x 2), intimidation and intentionally choke person.
He was refused bail and will appear at Wollongong Local Court today.
