Woman who stabbed ex-partner’s wife and grandson to death jailed for life
A Chinese woman who stabbed her ex-partner’s wife and grandson to death has been sentenced to a minimum of 32 years in prison.
Cai Xia Liao murdered Mai Mach and her grandson Alistair Kwong, at a Melbourne home on March 31.
The court heard Ms Liao drugged and bound her ex-partner before stabbing four-year-old Alistair to death with garden shears.
When Mrs Mach returned home from work she then stabbed her to death too.
Ms Liao was today sentenced to life imprisonment, with a minimum of 32 years in the Victorian Supreme Court.
