IT’S been revealed a woman who wedged her 4WD between tram tracks on the Sundale Bridge yesterday was drunk.

The Palm Beach woman, said to be aged 46, entered the tramway at the notorious intersection with Ada Bell Way and Queen Street about 3.40pm.

She managed to drive her Toyota RAV4 a few hundreds metres along the tracks before becoming wedged on Sundale Bridge.

Emergency services spent more than an hour removing the car which had reportedly been leaking fuel over the tracks.
