Woman who turned gun on real estate agent refused bail

UPDATE: A WOMAN accused of turning a gun on a Gold Coast real estate agent at an open house inspection at the weekend and taking off in his car has been refused bail.

The 27-year-old appeared in Southport Magistrates Court this morning, charged with an array of offences including armed robbery, UUMV, fraud, forge, utter, possession of a knife and drugs.

It’s alleged the woman posed as a would-be buyer at an open house in Surfers on Saturday before holding the hosting agent at gunpoint and demanding his car keys and mobile phone.

She fled the scene in the agents’ blue 2011 Suzuki sedan.

Police located and arrested the woman near a Marine Parade business late on Tuesday afternoon after the agents’ car – which she was still driving – had broken down.

EARLIER: A WOMAN has been charged over the brazen armed robbery of a Gold Coast real estate agent at the weekend.

It’s alleged the 27-year-old woman posed as a would-be buyer at an open house inspection on Monaco Street in Surfers Paradise on Saturday.

She then turned a gun on the hosting agent and demanded his phone and car keys.

She took off in the agents 2011 blue Suzuki sedan shortly after 11am.

A 27-year-old woman of no fixed place of abode has been charged with numerous offences including armed robbery, UUMV, fraud, forge, utter, possession of a knife and drugs.

She is due to face Southport Magistrates Court today.
