Woman’s body found after Qld house fire

A crime scene has been established after a woman was killed in a ferocious house fire in Brisbane overnight.

Emergency crews were called to a house on Rowe Terrace at Darra around 11.30pm on Monday, following reports of a large blaze.

Upon arrival, fire crews immediately launched into action after finding the property fully engulfed in flames.

Sadly, after inspecting the home, the body of a woman was found inside.

A member of the public, who tried to douse the flames before emergency services arrived, was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.

It’s not yet known what sparked the blaze, with investigators working to determine the cause.
