Women behind bars, accused of savage assaults in Logan

TWO women are behind bars, charged with bashing and cutting two other women in two separate homes at Logan.

It was around 2.30pm on Friday when police allege the women first bashed a 28-year-old woman inside a house on Pilbi Street in Woodridge.

The two women, aged 28 and 29, then allegedly forced the injured woman to drive them to a house on Blackwood Road in Logan Central where it’s alleged they attacked a second 30-year-old woman.

Police were called and swooped on the scene where they arrested the two women.

The 28-year-old from Slacks Creek and 29-year-old woman from Logan Central have since been charged with one count each of armed robbery, enter dwelling with intent and wounding.

Both women have been remanded in custody and will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Police said the two victims were treated for facial injuries and cuts to their legs.
