Pair hospitalised after nasty fall during performance act
Two people have been taken to hospital after a nasty fall during a performance in Helensvale.
Emergency crews were called to a location on Town Centre Drive around 9.30pm on Wednesday, following reports two people had been injured.
It’s understood the pair fell around 2 and a half metres during a performance act.
The duo fortunately managed to escape serious injury.
A woman in her 30s suffered back pain, while a man, also aged in his 30s, sustained shoulder pain.
They were assessed at the scene by critical care paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.
