Two women have been hospitalised following a nasty crash on the northern Gold Coast early this morning.
Emergency crews were called to Hillside Drive and Stapylton Jacobs Well Road just before 4.20am, following reports two cars had collided.
Two women, both aged in their 20s, were treated at the scene by paramedics including Critical Care and the High Acuity Response Unit.

One woman suffered lower leg injuries and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The second woman sustained minor injuries and transported stable.
