Women threatened at gunpoint in Wagga

POLICE are searching for three men who allegedly threatened two women at gunpoint and damaged one of their cars in a terrifying incident at a house in the NSW Riverina.

It’s alleged that, at about 4am on Tuesday, two men armed with guns attended a house on Truscott Avenue at Ashmont, in Wagga Wagga, and threatened a 21-year-old woman and her friend.

Later that night, at about 8pm, it’s alleged one of the men allegedly returned to the house with two other males and became involved in an altercation with the women.


During the second incident, it’s alleged the men also damaged a car at the Ashmont address.

Police believe both incidents were targeted attacks and are urging for anyone with information to come forward as they try and track down the offenders.
