Work starts on Jupiters Hotel & Casino’s $345 million redevelopment

WORK has begun on an amazing $345 million redevelopment at Jupiters Hotel & Casino.

All of the iconic property’s existing facilities are set receive a makeover and a new six-star luxury hotel tower, complete with contemporary restaurants and bars, will be built.



Stage one is already underway, with the hotel’s existing pool area completely demolished to make way for a new poolside experience complete with private cabanas and an ultra-modern bar. Exterior painting works has also begun to give Jupiters a whole new look by Christmas this year.

Two of the property’s seven restaurants, Osteria Vivo and entwine, will also this month to make way for exciting new dining concepts.

Within the next 12 months, refurbishment of the existing 592-room hotel and early works on the new six-star luxury hotel tower will commence.

Managing Director Queensland Geoff Hogg said the team is excited to get the redevelopment of Jupiters Gold Coast underway..

“Enjoying the perfect Gold Coast weather is a part of what makes this destination so appealing, so it made sense to start our transformation outdoors,” he said.

Geoff said the multi-phased redevelopment is being handled carefully to ensure a world-class project is delivered, while causing as little disruption to guests as possible.

“With all developments, there comes some short term disruption but we promise the end result will be well worth it,” he said.

Geoff said it’s an exciting time for the Gold Coast with investment taking place across the city and 2018 Commonwealth Games preparations in full swing.

“We are thrilled to be a part of this resurgence, and will be working closely with our precinct and wider Gold Coast partners to make sure Jupiters continues to play an integral role in making this beautiful city a must-see destination,” he said.
