Worker hospitalised after falling 3m from scaffolding

A man’s in hospital after falling at a building site just over the border on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services were called to a property in Kingscliff just before 10.00 am following reports of the fall.

It’s understood a worker had fallen at least three metres from some scaffolding.

He was assessed for leg injuries at the scene before being taken to hospital for further treatment.

He’s understood to be in the Tweed Hospital in a stable condition.

No other injuries were reported.
