A worker has been injured after he was forced to jump several metres from a crane, which collapsed onto a construction site in Taree.
The crane toppled over onto the under-construction carpark on High Street just before 8.00am.
Paramedics treated the worker, believed to be aged in his 40s, at the scene.

Miraculously, he is believed to have escaped with only a fractured leg.
Worksafe NSW has been notified.
